As part of a university project, I rebranded The Petrie Museum of Egyptian Archaeology. I chose this museum as their current branding was inconsistent, from the outside it was just seen as another university building, blending in with the UCL branding. The museum needed its own identity, a modern refresh that appealed to the rest of their target audience rather than just the UCL students.
The new branding for Petrie with a custom typeface, has recognisable brand colours and graphics which are consistent throughout every touchpoint, from way-finding and signage to print design. With their own identity, more people can find and explore everything Petrie has to offer, without feeling like they are intruding in a students-only area.
